Camping in Holland

I found a great campsite in Holland in a place called Wassenaar. We stayed at the theme park Duinrell, I decided it would be an easy trip for our first time in the campervan abroad.
It could not have been any easier it was about 3 and a half hours from Calais.....so easy on the motorway.
The campsite was lovely we stayed in a wooded area at the back of the theme park.
I would love to stay here again and go to Amsterdam for the day which is about half an hour away.
Wassenaar is a great place to visit with lovely shops and cafes. We were really lucky to be there on a weekend when all the local children sell their old toys on the main high street. The toys were as good as new and my children got so much with 5 euros.
The theme park Duinrell is in the woods, also near a lovely beach and the whole area is amazing if you are on bikes (Holland is made for cycling) even with small children.

The kids kept busy all day on the go-carts we hired on site

Great play areas for the children

Great campsite in a theme park with one of the biggest indoor waterparks in Europe so even if it rains there is so much to do.
