I have been camping since I was 3 weeks old. My parents proudly tell me I was the best baby in the campsite and the people in the tent beside us could not believe my parents had 2 children because we were so well behaved. The camping trips continued with my parents in both the UK and abroad in our trusty old tent. My parents sold the tent for £50 in 2000 dad still thinks it will go on for another 30 years.
I got the bug as an adult buying my first Campervan when I was 22 with a wage packet I received from a TV programme I was working on at HTV called ' Trip in a Cosmic Buggy ' ha the memories.
My first camping trips in my 1973 VW Devon Campervan were mainly spent in Devon surfing.....well looking for a fit surfer boyfriend ha and pretending I could surf.
